  1. Acne treatment:Retin-A. It Works!

    I strongly believe that the secret of all great make up is great skin. Like most people I had flawless completion until my puberty and after, but somehow in my early twenties I started to have a major acne problem. I got this combination of whiteheads and blackheads all starting from my cheeks and  slowly spreading through all over my face. I have an oily T zone but the rest of my face is normal to dry.

    Tretinoin Cream ( Retin-A) helps expel the plugged material under your skin, returning the pore to normal.It irritates the skin and causes the cells of the skin to divide and die more rapidly, increasing the turnover of cells. Be aware, the product can be irritating at the beginning;

    I usually apply Tretinoin Cream in a thin layer at night.

    In the morning I wash my  face with a facial scrub . This will help reduce the noticeable flaking.After washing, I apply a good water-based moisturizer. The moisturizer will make the drying effect of the medicine more tolerable.

    The product is a cheap and effective solution to treat acne. All in all, Tretinoin is a good product, and if nothing else works with your acne, give it a try!

  2. Review: ST. Moriz instant self tanning mousse

    My Rating:

    It’s Cheap & it works ! This product is perfect for one use, for a day event if you want an extra glow…..like you just got a little sun !:) And, as shallow as this sounds, being tanned generally means looking pretty, skinny and healthy…In the summer time, I prefer lying on a beach and have the real thing, but the rest of the season, this is my go-to product;
    It lasts about 2-3 days on me. It’s more of a gradual tanner, but the first appliance looks natural.I think the mousse is easiest to use and is the most fail safe.
    I dont know if it contains the same ingredients as ST tropez ( i never used it , though im dying to buy it) but i guess it’s an excellent alternative  at a fraction of the price (I paid around 2 Euros )

    The steps i take to have a non-patchy look:

    1.I put it on before bed.
    2.I gave it a good shake before and i apply it with my hands ( if you are using a mitt, it will work better and prevents any streaking).
    3.Usually I shave and exfoliate one day before I tan.
    4.I put a small amount of moisture on my knees, elbows etc as these areas are a little bit dryer and they tend to hold on to the tan more.
    5.I don’t shower/ exercise for at least 6 hours , but most of the times I apply it before i go to sleep, although it does stain the sheets.

    A lot of product washes off on the first shower, but stay assured it still looks good on the skin. I recommend this product without reservation.xoxo

  3. Review: Urban Decay Naked pallette

    My Rating:

    I’m more of a *No-make -up make type* type of girl: flawless skin, sparkling eyes, peachy cheeks. Of course, easier said than done…

    In my day-to-day life I try to make my outfit the focal point and have my make- up accentuate my personal style. I mostly try to do soft smoky, browns, or natural color looks, so the U D Naked pallet serves this purpose. This said, let me just put it out there:  this pallete is my all-time favorite!

    I found it at Sephora on a weekend, ready just for some window-shopping, and I caved! At almost 30 euros, this product is well worth the cost imo; this amazing pallete contains all the colors I need. Strangely enough I feel complete and I don’t want to keep searching for the perfect eye shadows anymore. One good thing , I’m not interested in buying another brand.

    The pallete itselt is so stylish with the chocolate brown velvet look, and a perfect size to take it in vacation, or carry it in a clutch to refresh your make-up. The shadows are well pigmented and  they blend really nicely; Moreover,  they are easy to work with, a definite plus if you don’t have much time to apply make up in the morning. In addition to the gorgeous shadows, I also got a Urban Decay’s best-selling Primer Potio ( which is amazing )and a double ended pencil (also pretty good).

    My take on this pallete: 5 stars. It truly lives up to the expectations! xoxo
