    My Rating:

I first tried La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel a year ago, and I have been loyal to it ever since. I’m on my third bottle now, and this liquid mild cleanser is an absolute must for me.

This is by far, the best cleanser I have ever used: gets all my makeup off, doesn’t burn my eyes and my skin feels extra clean after using.

I have combination skin that can break out from dryness as well as too much oil on my T zone. This cleanser does a great job of getting oil/dirt/makeup off my face.  I would say it prevents acne by getting the excess oil of my face, tightening the pores and by not irritating the blemishes I already have.

Is paraben-free , but it does contains some chemicals like sodium laureth sulphate. While the cleanser does not contain any standard acne clearing ingredients such as salicylic acid, it incorporates zinc PCA, which  reduce acne causing bacteria.

I wash my face twice a day with the Effaclar Cleanser and though my skin feels a little tight, I make sure I moisturize well right after ( ATM im using Embryolisse Lait Concentre).

I had quite a bit of clogged pores on my T zone, but now they are starting to dry out, which I believe is due partly to this cleanser.

Oh, and I only need a tiny drop of the cleanser for my entire face, so one bottle lasts me for about 4 months.  It retails at 22$( on sale  16.81$ on Amazon). I bought mine from France for about 10 Euros.

I am somewhat of a product junkie, I like this product so much and I’m sure I’m going to stick with it for a while, but I still want to try next  Bioderma creoline H20.
